Duties & Responsibilities: The Entry Level Account Manager in this position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with business owners by offering benefit communication, enrollment services, and financial protection benefits at the work-site. You will NOT be selling insurance to employees; our Benefit Counseling team takes care of that process.

The job responsibilities are:

The ideal candidate for this position is enthusiastic, career-minded and self-motivated individual with a proven record of professionalism and success in fast-paced environments. The individual selected will receive comprehensive sales training along with dependable home office support to grow his/her own business and realize the unlimited growth potential unique to the employee benefits industry and to Colonial Life as a leader in the national market.

Successful Sales Agent candidates have experience with or have been Independent Agents, Ex-Military, Bartenders/Servers, Cell Phone Sales, Furniture / Appliance Sales, Car Sales, Retail (Best Buy / Conn's / Fry's / Saks / Neiman's) and more. All do well in our Business!

```Duties```
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and provide guidance on plan options
- Coordinate with insurance providers and vendors to resolve benefit-related issues
- Conduct data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of benefit programs and make recommendations for improvements
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits
- Maintain accurate employee records and update benefit information as needed
- Provide support during employee orientation and open enrollment periods
- Collaborate with the HR team to address employee inquiries and concerns related to benefits
- Assist in the development and implementation of benefit communication strategies

```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Benefit Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Ceridian Dayforce, for data collection and analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex benefit information to employees
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Knowledge of workers' compensation regulations is a plus
