Job Summary:

Seeking a part-time Legal Assistant to assist attorney with business and consumer bankruptcies. The right candidate will meet with new clients to do intake information, input client information into Best Case application, follow up with clients to obtain further information as needed, electronically file the case with the Court, and do all post-bankruptcy duties as needed.

Bankruptcy experience in a legal office is a priority;

Must know Best Case computer software;

Case Management experience;

Ability to track data and follow up with client progress;

Excellent Customer Service Experience;

Ability to work unsupervised;

Excellent computer skills required.

This position may turn into a hybrid position where the right candidate may perform some of the computer work outside of the office. After training and working with the attorney, employee may have flexibility in work hours coordinating with other staff and attorneys. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, after which pay increases are dependent upon demonstrated work production. Additional benefits may apply after probationary period.
