DANG! Soft Serve, the only soft serve shop by Little Man Ice Cream is hiring full time! We are looking for Shift leaders to join our team for the summer. This position is for weekday Morning and Night availability. This means out morning hours (10am-5pm) Or closing (5pm-11pm).

The Shift Lead exemplifies all duties required of Twisters, including, but not limited to, shift-to-shift operations, controlling staffing assignments, cash handling, guest interactions, product oversight, and ensuring the Dang! experience at all times. In addition to the duties listed above, the Shift Lead takes on the responsibility of employee and guest service with the utmost care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the highest standards of conduct for all employees including ensuring customer service, product, and ethical practices
• Maintain cash handling in shift and cash levels in safe
• Knowledge of POS system and subsequent problem solving skills involving POS issues
• Knowledge of food and safety requirements
• Knowledge of maintenance needs, cleanliness, and sanitation control on property
• Provides support and Training for Twisters by any means necessary during shift
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly supervises Twisters, delegates, and holds team members accountable
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to training Twisters; planning, assigning, and directing work while on shift; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems quickly and with a polite attitude.
• Communicating with AGMs and GM on any necessary items in a timely and professional manner.
• Successfully directs daily shift operations through communication with team members and constructive feedback throughout your shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have current and valid driver's license ---- negotiable with discussion
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence through text or online modules.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Pay: From $15.77 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 35 per week
