This position will have the responsibility to develop, improved and maintain all system operating as well develop and implement the new machine control and MES standards when necessary.
The position reports to the Senior Manufacturing Engineer Manager and is expected to support the future needs of the manufacturing organization thru implementation of the latest manufacturing intelligence in our plant.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Working knowledge of CAD, 2D and 3D MS Office suite Siemens PLC required Tecnomatix experience is preferred, but not required
* Work closely with the global IT team to implement the MES system while acting as the Voice of Manufacturing from DTC
* Analyze schedules to ensure the most efficient use of resources and accurate finish dates for assigned projects
* Work closely with all manufacturing locations to develop the DTC standard for machine control systems going forward Support and/or implement automation projects ranging from
* Support team goals to delivery our operations KPIS on safety, quality delivery and cost
* Keep Machine availability >90 and productivity rates above 10%
* Standardization Global team member following international company standards.
* Consulted Robotics Definitions, programming, sustaining.
* Process Daily periodization and delegation of tasks Accountable
* Test Stands Support as well Test Stand Automation when needed.
* Siemens SIT Contingency plan to ensure fast response in case of failure.

Required (basic) qualifications:

5 years managing/implementing site wide PLC control standardization within a factory environment.
3 years implementing Industry 4.0 and the Connected Factory concepts within an organization
3 years in an Industrial/Manufacturing operations role with supervisory
nice to have years working with MES systems, specifically with SIT/Ops Center and/or Critical Manufacturing
Preferred qualifications:
Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence decision making with or without authority, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives, across geographies, and bring teams to agreement. Strong self-leadership demonstrating self-awareness, initiative and humility.
Results-driven who is fearless about execution, can champion a vision and roadmap, and is not afraid to dig into the details with the front-line team.
A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team's work.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, conceptually interpret and clearly communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties; translate complexity into the actionable.
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex change efforts and to drive results through the creative use of facts and quantitative data, as well as influence, persuasion and relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to translate strategy to action; Influence, negotiation, change mgt, and presentation.
Able to identify problems and leverage a structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause.
Ability to bring clarity, structure, and actions to ambiguous plans and challenges.
Able to work flexible schedules occasionally to accommodate global work teams.
