Dandelion Cafe in the Rice University Campus is looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team. We are a breakfast and lunch place. Full Time. Opportunity for specials and creativity encouraged once you have learned our menu and become established. Ability to grow within the company as we expand. Pay based on experience. Must be able to work with female management.

Qualifications:
Proven working experience as a cook
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
Strong attention to detail
Leadership skills
Punctual
Bi-lingual is a plus
Ability to listen and communicate effectively
Breakfast experience
Responsibilities
Prepare and set out ingredients to be used throughout the day
Cook and prepare food to order
Oversee and manage prep/set prep pars
Inventory and manage stock of accessible ingredients
Placing orders with vendors and setting order pars
Team scheduling
Maintain health and safety guidelines
Equipment cleaning/maintenance scheduling
Efficiently communicate and work with team members toward one goal
