Job Requirements:
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Major and at least 1 year of clerical/administrative experience in a dance or office environment
Fluent in both English and Spanish verbally and comprehensively is a MUST!
Clerical - Working knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
Customer and Personal Service - Working knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

Active Listening - Basic skills in giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times

Reading Comprehension - Basic understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents

Responsibilities
Telephones or writes letters/emails to respond to correspondence from existing and prospective students, or to follow up on initial contacts; to campus inquiries
Contacts prospective students to present basic information and/or explain available programs and services
Communicates with prospects about, program offerings, admission requirements, pending admission documents, curriculum, and/or basic financial information by telephone or email
Assists in completing application and enrollment documents
Completes forms in accordance with procedures
Monitors and prepares reports of activities /schedules and tracking of prospects' and suspects' inquiries, applications, and student outcomes up to and including enrollment
Coordinates or participates in promotional activities, including conferences, on-campus orientations, educational fairs, career days, campus tours, call campaigns, or special events to present programs to prospective students
Greets visitors or callers and handles their inquiries or directs them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
Answers telephones and gives information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals
Sets up and manages paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, inventories, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material
Uses computers for various applications, such as database management, word processing, shared documents, and research assigned project topics
Operates office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arranges for repairs when equipment malfunctions and submits work orders as requested
Opens, reads, routes, and distributes incoming mail or other materials and answer routine letters
Create content and manage social media for promotional offers and inquiries.
Schedules/manages room assignment requests for classes, meetings, video conferences and special request
Attends meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops and serves on committees
Performs other duties as assigned or required
