Danbury Square Box is a family owned courrgated converting plant located in Danbury Connecticut. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities. Additionally, the candidate will be required to operate a forklift as needed to support our daily operations.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, installations, and inspections

- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment

- Operate a forklift to move materials and products as needed

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing consumable components, greasing equipment, or repairing equipment

- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role

- Valid forklift operator certification

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills
