Danbury Public Schools is Hiring a Woodwind Instructor Near Danbury, CT
- Band camp (2 weeks late August, dates and times TBD)
- Weekly Tuesday/Thursday rehearsals
- Saturday Competitions
- Review judge tapes from music individual, music ensemble, and percussion captions.
- Collaborate with the rest of the marching band staff
- Other responsibilities assigned by Band Director
- High School Diploma
- Performance experience in marching ensembles (marching band, drum corps, winter percussion)
- DCI, DCA, WGI, or college marching band experience preferred

Danbury High School The Danbury High School Marching Band has an opening for a woodwind instructor. This position will be in charge of woodwind music rehearsals, and troubleshooting section issues during full music and visual rehearsals. Woodwind section leaders would report to this person first. Duties would include leading sectionals, being on the field during full ensemble, and other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
This position reports to the Danbury High School Marching Band Director. This is a stipend position of $2000.
