We are currently seeking a Value Stream Manager who will be responsible for prioritizing the production schedule based on customer demand, equipment and staffing efficiency, material supplies, and business priorities. Coordinating between functional areas and multiple production cells to provide on-time delivery of complex orders by championing the customer. Owning the responsibility for safety and in part, for the gross margin of the value stream, with direct responsibility for the labor cost of sales. This is a Monday-Friday role with a schedule of 6:30am-2:30pm though flexibility is required per business needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Efficiency and utilization (i.e. productivity) of the value stream. Evaluation of value add versus non-value add activities.

• Process standardization, process improvement, continuous improvement and managing projects and objectives for the value stream.

• Responsible for leading, hiring, on-boarding and developing staff.

• Collaborate with multiple teams to include product management, engineering and quality.

• Lead and develop direct reports and support the building of organizational talent.

• Explain information, convey performance expectations, and handles sensitive issues.

• Guides and influences others either internally or externally.

The required qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years experience OR Master's degree with 7 years experience.

• 2 years managing people.

• Demonstrated use of problem solving to drive organizational performance.

• Technical proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Change management and leading teams through change.
