The Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for mechanical and system design, construction, and debugging of prototype laboratory medical devices.
This position is part of the Hematology and Urinalysis Business Unit located in Miami, FL and will be an Onsite role. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Research and Innovation team and report to the Senior Director of Research and Innovation, and you’ll be responsible for research, design, and deployment of prototype laboratory medical devices for the Hematology product line. You’ll be the involved in multidiscipline efforts where you will focus on mechatronics, fluidics, opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical design. You will closely collaborate with other hardware engineers, system engineers, scientists, and technicians to explore opportunities in innovation and development.
