The Sr Quality Engineeris responsible for interfacing with internal and external customers when quality-related topics arise.This individual will continuously assess quality capabilities for both products and processes. This position is part of the Quality Assurance department and will be an on-site role located in New Port Richey, FL.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive internal PPM improvements using iDT&R (Internal Defect Tracking & Resolution)

• Drive external PPM improvements using CDT&R (Customer Defect Tracking & Resolution)

• Maintain and update value stream quality systems using standard APQP tools.

• Lead Quality related Kaizen events for your respective value stream.

• Collaborate with manufacturing to reduce scrap for your respective value stream.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.(Engineering or Technology)

• 5 years of quality engineering experience

• Experience with APQP core tools. (Experience in both development and maintenance)

• Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DoE (Design of Experiments)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience using Six Sigma tools.

• ASQ or Six Sigma certifications.

• A regulated manufacturing environment, i.e., Aerospace or Automotive
