The Senior Manager, Customer Advocacy and Thought Leadership for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for building and being the catalyst for the commercial advocacy program strategy. You will lead both strategic and tactical marketing and advocacy activities to improve brand awareness, achieve growth goals and business plans, and maximize profitability. You will work closely with all levels of strategic customers, industry thought leaders and as well as collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional teams at all levels of the Beckman Coulter organization and other Danaher operating companies.

This position is part of the North American Marketing organization and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build innovative strategy, tools and tactics to engage national and regional strategic customers
  • Create and manage experiences to showcase Beckman Coulter; at times expanding these experiences to include other Danaher operating companies.
  • Identify, recruit and collaborate with Thought Leaders to create evidence-based materials. Serve as a resource for broader Marketing team’s thought leadership plans.
  • Collect Voice of Customer and identify forward thinking market trends to anticipate customer needs and identify market opportunities for growth
  • Create customer facing content targeting key stakeholders

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 14 years of relevant experience in Sales and/or Marketing ; or Masters with 12 years of relevant experience; or Doctoral with 9 years of relevant experience. 
  • 5 years of experience in Sales and / or Marketing roles within the Medical Products industry
  • Both strategic and tactical capabilities – can analyze the market, competitors, and company and can be hands on and help execution at the detailed level.
  • Demonstrated skill in effective stakeholder influence, collaboration, and engagement to achieve goals, even in situations where direct authority may be limited.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely and accurately conduct executive level presentations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Excellent process orientation with a proven track record of leading sustainable change and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization with extensive knowledge of the principal areas and roles of Marketing, Sales, Service, Contracting, and Business Development.
  • Solid understanding of medical device, diagnostics and/or laboratory market

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
