• Duties
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental x-rays, digital intraoral photos and digital impressions
• Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Verify and update patient information in the dental office system
• Maintain and organize patient records and charts
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
• Qualifications
• Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge Dentrix dental software is a plus
• Familiarity with medical scheduling and recordkeeping procedures
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
