Job Purpose

• Provide technical and commercial assistance and application specific information to our customers and internal customer service personnel in order to promote Dana product. :
• Answer customer and internal customer service product technical inquiries using engineering / production data.
• Assist in determining how product is to be serviced with assistance from technical service or engineering depts
• Provide internal departments with corrections to current publications where identified
• Assist customers / Crossville in part dimensional information from prints
• Provide support on quotes for service units, (transmissions, axles, electronic controllers
• Prepare recommended inventory lists for new products / customer applications
• Provide support / participate in product launch / product phase out / complexity reduction teams
• Propose service parts overhaul kits for specific components / units
• Help promote the sale of these products to our customers
• Provide application specific information
• Provide solutions / solve problems
• Help promote the sale of Dana product
• Create solid customer relations and provide excellent customer satisfaction
• Be a problem solver and information source for the customer, with solutions and data
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Associates Degree in Engineering or related area experience

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Experience and product knowledge of Dana parts
• Technical aptitude / interest
• Customer focused
• Self-starter, able to accept responsibility and prioritize work load
• Computer knowledge required
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to read engineering prints
