Job Purpose

The Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations by managing a team of workers, ensuring the timely delivery of products, and maintaining safety standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervising daily planning, organizing, and operations for day shift functions.
• Overseeing one or more of the distribution center functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
• Ensures employee compliance to protocols and standards.
• Motivating, monitoring, and counseling employees regarding work-related issues and performance.
• Monitoring progress of work and adjusting plan accordingly.
• Fosters a high degree of morale among his people.
• Assists in the recruitment, hiring, promoting, and terminating processes as needed.
• Reviews employee performances and provides feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Managing time and attendance of workers.
• Conducting post-accident investigations and follow-up.
• Issuing corrective action as needed.
• 1 - 3 years experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in SAP is a plus
