Working under the direction of the Senior Director and clinical faculty leadership, and reporting to the CT/X-ray Imaging Manager, the CT/X-ray Imaging Supervisor (IS) serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for performing and/or overseeing the performance of all technical procedures within their respective modality sections. The CT/X-ray Supervisor will lead coordination of patient scheduling and work flow, managing staffing assignments, providing oversight of operational activities, facilitating clinical research and educational activities, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance, participation in the development and achievement of departmental goals, and leads Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities. The CT/X-ray IS will work with various members within the Department of Imaging, including other ISs, Imaging Managers, IT staff, faculty, technical staff, administrative support, and the Quality, Safety, and Compliance Specialist. The CT/X-ray IS will collaborate with other departmental leaders on multidisciplinary and compliance related activities. The CT/X-ray IS will work with CT/X-ray Imaging Manager to create and sustain a culture that fosters excellence, impact, and discovery of innovative and novel approaches towards the eradication of cancer and related diseases.
