Job Title: Factory Maintenance Lead

Overview:

As a Factory Maintenance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bottling line and manufacturing facility. You will oversee the maintenance activities, ensuring that all equipment is functioning efficiently to meet production targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing, particularly in bottling equipment maintenance, and possess strong leadership skills to effectively lead a team.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance: Lead the maintenance and repair activities for all machinery and equipment within the bottling line and manufacturing facility. This includes but is not limited to bottle filling equipment, conveyor systems, packaging machinery, and auxiliary equipment.

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize production disruptions. Coordinate with production supervisors to prioritize and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.

Inventory Management:

Manage spare parts inventory and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels for routine maintenance and repairs. Coordinate with procurement to source parts and equipment as needed, optimizing costs without compromising quality.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory logs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for maintenance personnel and production staff. Conduct regular safety inspections and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any safety concerns promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the maintenance function. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and drive operational excellence.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in manufacturing, with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery.

Expertise in maintenance practices for bottling equipment and production machinery is highly desirable.

Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Technical certification or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
