Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Experience with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Knowledge of food service industry standards and practices
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene protocols
Note: Prior experience as a barista is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
