Remarkable way you will make a difference...
Provides effective and efficient treatment that prepares clients for life outside of Damar North.
Responsible for leading, directing and monitoring treatment services.
Maintains clinical caseload.
Leads and directs the implementation of IPPs by providing guidance and training to employees for assigned clients.
Provide clinical on call coverage as scheduled, being available Monday-Friday and on assigned weekends.
Complete all necessary reports, forms, and documentation accurately and timely.
Develop and facilitate group, family, and individual therapy in a timely manner.
Conduct or oversee crisis intervention, assuring client safety.
Collaboratively monitor programs for effectiveness with Unit Supervisor.
Ensures there is Referral source communication (weekly) per client in a caseload.
Completes and follows up on the BDDS application and assists with client transitions and discharges.
Evaluate behavioral practices and review treatment records, assuring standards of care and quality of services are provided in accordance with Medicaid, state, CARF, DCS, and other state/federal agencies.
Assure proper case manager/client ratios so that clients receive full therapeutic services.
Maintain utilization review standards according to department requirements.
Acts as a liaison and consistently communicates with families, professionals, guardians and referring agencies to provide best outcomes for clients. Ensures that these communications are recorded in a timely manner and participates in weekly narrative communication.
Completes follow-up recommendations for services, equipment, or programs.
What you need to be considered...
Education: Master’s degree required in Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related field. Please see Certifications, Licenses or Special Training.
Experience:

Equipment Familiarity: Proficiency with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Essential Job Functions:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
