Dallas Nephrology Associates (DNA) is a large independent single specialty practice with numerous offices located throughout the Dallas-Fort worth Metroplex. We have an immediate opening for an Acute Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant (APP) to provide overnight coverage (7pm - 7am, 3 nights a week) coverage at Baylor Scott and White Hospital Dallas located in the North Dallas area. The APP is responsible for the management of kidney patients in an acute care setting. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis and implementation of treatment plans. Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests. Consults with other members of the healthcare team when appropriate. Instructs patients and family members regarding treatment. The APP provides support to physicians and clinical staff. Nephrology experience and in-patient hospital experience will be necessary for this position.

Requirements:

• Graduate from accredited APP program required
• Acute Care Nursing Certificate required
• In-Patient hospital experience required
• Nephrology experience required
• Previous experience in dialysis
• Current Texas state license
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Reliable transportation
