Dallas International School (DIS) is accredited by ISAS (Independent Schools Association of the Southwest), France's Ministry of Education, and the International Baccalaureate Organization.
With 686 students of over 30 nationalities, DIS is an international school on a human scale and the only one with a French and multilingual curriculum in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, a city of seven million inhabitants which is in full demographic and economic expansion. Desired Profile:
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for providing support with educational lessons and activities to teachers in a classroom setting. This position will assist with the preparation of classroom materials and/or displays for lessons planned and executed by the teacher. The Assistant Teacher will help with clerical tasks, enforce classroom rules and provide general care and supervision to DIS children enrolled in Preschool-K classes. This may include leading and monitoring small or large group activities. The Assistant Teacher will assist with receiving children from / delivering children to parents and/or guardians during the DIS carpool hours and may also have cafeteria monitoring duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of Early Childhood, Education and/or related experience or any equivalent combination of related education and experience. The following knowledge, skills and abilities are required:
