Dallas Cowboys is Hiring an Event Operations - Manager of Parking & 24 Hour Security Ops. Near Arlington, TX

The Manager of Parking & 24-Hour Security is responsible for overseeing and leading the parking & 24-hour building security operations of AT&T Stadium. This includes daily/non-event activities and event-related activities. This position coordinates and manages all necessary staff and services to provide industry-leading standards in building security and parking operations. The Manager of Parking & 24-Hour Security supervises one full-time position, the 24/7 Security Coordinator, and four part-time positions, the Control Room Supervisors. The Manager of Parking & 24-Hour Security reports to the Director of Security & Parking.

Job Duties:

  • Provide supervision and direction for the 24/7 Security Coordinator and Control Room Supervisor positions.
  • Act as the liaison between AT&T Stadium, City of Arlington, TXDOT and Arlington Entertainment District venues to ensure appropriate communication related to events and traffic management plans for all AT&T Stadium events.
  • Coordinate with Transportation and Public Works and Texas Department of Transportation on closures and traffic plans related to events.
  • Support, grow and develop any direct reports to enrich the overall capability of the department and the broader team.
  • Overall active contributor to the Event Operation Team; effective communicator across all levels of the organization and with vendor partners
  • Be present all major stadium events and other events as required.
  • Assist with the Event Command Post operations for major events.
  • Manage and maintain an effective relationship with security services contractor including evaluating training, staffing positions, staff performance, quality assurance measures for 24-hour building security.
  • Develop venue-specific operations materials for security contractor (procedures, post orders, deployments) to ensure the safety and security of the building at all times.
  • Active participant in incident report process including coordination with legal and risk management departments, and guest services.
  • Interface with other stadium constituents regarding security issues.
  • Ensure parking contractor performing services as agreed per contract and budget.
  • Attend parking and traffic meetings with parking vendor, Event Management, Arlington Police, and necessary city officials to ensure all event needs are met and other aspects of the operation are running optimally.
  • Ensure compliance with city ordinance requirements pertaining to development of required traffic management plans for all events as required by ordinance.
  • Oversee and approve traffic management plan for all events at AT&T Stadium.
  • In coordination with the Director of Security & Parking, develop and manage the parking and traffic operations annual budget.
  • Develop and evolve AT&T Stadium policies, procedures, and guidelines relative to tailgating and ride share operations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, communications, sports management or related area of study preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of management level experience with responsibilities related to parking and security operations for a venue (stadium, arena, convention center, performing arts facility, etc.).
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required.
  • Experience with ABI Mastermind preferred.
  • Able to obtain a Security License in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Able to work flexible hours including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
