The Lead Retail Sales Associate is responsible for directing all activities required to achieve store goals, including sales objectives, customer service, mentoring and retention of sales staff, loss prevention, and merchandise sales at Fans United. The Lead Retail Sales Associate assists the Store Manager in Operations and executing development and business plans. The Lead Retail Sales Associate position is focused on storewide communications, training, and supports store/retail associates The Lead Retail Sales Associate reports to the Fans United Store Manager. Job Duties: Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaintsDirect and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts and/or performing services for customersHire, train, and evaluate employees, promoting or terminating when appropriateExamine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed; train employees on pricing and merchandisingFunctions as a role-model to ensure clients remain a top-priorityPerform all duties of the Retail Sales AssociatePerform other functions and activities as directed by the Pro Shop ManagerGenerate sales by recommending, selecting, and locating merchandise based on customer needs Perform regularly scheduled store inventories
