We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Management Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and generating custom reports to inform inventory purchasing decisions. As an Inventory Management Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Enter incoming purchase orders into Shopify software
• Use an excel spreadsheet to format product information
• Manage inventory levels
• Make corrections in inventory software to match the correct level of inventory owned in the store
• Contact brand representatives via email or phone call to request information regarding outstanding purchase orders or product information
• Generate custom reports to assess what has been sold and needs to be reordered
• Generate backstock reports
• Receive inventory upon arrival
• Match invoices to packing slips to verify the agreed-upon cost was charged
• Discuss cost increases if there has been an increase in the amount charged for a product
• Resolve any problems that arise after the products are received at the store

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Shopify and inventory management software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
