Position Summary:
The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, supervising, and documenting the care of patients, directly delivering and supervising nursing care in accordance with established nursing standards, policies and procedures; serves as a resource for all nursing care areas and acts as a delegated representative of nursing administration in their absence, manages or supervises assigned personnel and promotes collaboration among all disciplines.
Prerequisite:
§ A current/valid licensed Registered Nurse in the State of North Dakota.
§ Demonstrates knowledge of the legal aspects of liabilities of nursing practice and functions within the legal boundaries established by the Nurse Practice Act.
§ Has knowledge of the Federal and State regulations for Long Term Care, Hospital and Swing Bed as applies to area of employment. Will communicate with the State Survey Team.
§ Certification/recertification in CPR as recommended by AHA and per facility policy. Demonstrates an ability to initiate and direct life support measures and perform effectively in Code Blue Procedures.
§ ACLS certification/recertification in Acute Care, as per facility policy.
Education:
Associate and/or Bachelor Degree in Nursing is required.

Pay: $29.00 - $42.00 per hour
