Mammography Technologist.

Performing screening, and diagnostic mammography examinations as well as breast procedures with the Radiologist using ultrasound, stereotactic and fluoroscopic guidance. The candidate will also perform general radiology and DEXA examinations in our patient friendly outpatient clinic.

Utilizing a variety of technical aspects that require judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying imaging parameters to obtain quality diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate will promote a cooperative and professional atmosphere through appropriate interaction with patients, radiologists, co-workers, patient care providers, referring physicians and other guests. Providing exceptional patient care while offering a warm, welcoming and respectful patient friendly atmosphere. Maintaining quality and safety at all times.

Monday through Friday rotating shifts. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.

Experience or Job Knowledge:

• 1- 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Mammography experience preferred.
• Fluent knowledge of anatomy, understanding principles and physics, to obtain clear diagnostic images.
• Computer experience: with EMRs and PACS systems

Education or Certifications:

• High school graduate or diploma equivalent (GED) required
• Certified, current, active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Mammography certification is preferred.
• CPR certified required
