Daiso Oceanside is Hiring a Remote Store Set Up Manager - Dallas/Ft. Worth

This role is responsible for the planning and executing new store set up, including scheduling key set up deliveries, coordinating with SMEs and other partners on key action items, such as IT and equipment orders, goodie bags and promotional items, fixture and more.The Store Set-Up Manager will lead and coordinate efforts of others to ensure timelydelivery of tasks and responsibilities in order to achieve successful new store opening.

Essential Job Duties

  • Plans and executes preparations for new store set up – Scheduling deliveries, coordinating with employees, equipment orders, trash pickups, goodie bags and promotions, IT items, etc..

  • Manages the day-to-day schedule and operations of new store setup.

  • Trains employees as necessary during setup on equipment types and use if merchandise displays

  • Executes store set up by leading and coordinating the effort of others to ensure timely delivery of tasks and responsibilities assigned.

  • Communicates with leadership and on-sitemanagers to assure all expectations are met and the punch list is fulfilled.

  • Oversees the management of store fixtures, equipment, and inventory management at the warehouse.

  • Responsible for the tracking of all incoming fixture container orders, shipments, and arrivals with the warehouse.

  • Driving forklifts (cherry pickers or reach forklift) to move and track inventory.

  • Operate RF scanners to accurately track fixture inventory.

Required Education, Certifications and Work-Related Experience

  • High School degree required;College level degree a plus but not required.

  • 3-5 years related work experience in construction project management and/or retail store set up.

  • Forklift: Cherry pickers and/or Reach machines depending on role.

  • Forklift Training will be offered and must be completed within 15 days of employment.

  • Has frequent contact with others outside of workgroup, both inside and outside DAISO. Results have major implications on the management and operations of an area within a department.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at multiple levels inside and outside the organization.

  • Self-motivatedand able to work and solve challenges independently and through internal partners in a fast-paced team environment. 

  • Highly organized individual

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, communicating with leaders, and organizing, planning, and executing work.

  • Proven Project Management skills (reporting/tracking) in coordinating and leading project activities across multiple departments and follow through communications with stakeholders. 

  • Knowledge of retail store operation

  • Knowledge of IT retail operations instore set up.
