Cake decorators assemble and prepare cakes per customers requests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate clearly, quickly and politely to co-workers

• Operate and maintain cake and soft serve equipment properly and safely

• Maintain an adequate inventory of decorated cakes at all times, including back-up cakes during holidays, national promotions and other peak cake occasions

• Keep display freezer full at all times with a variety of cakes

• Conducts samplings and actively sells products

• Clean work area, organize and stock needed items

• Stock and execute proper rotation of products.

• Keep cake production area and equipment clean and sanitary throughout shift using the PRIDE cake area checklist.

Job Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume restaurant

• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Exceptional decorating skills including gel, icing, air brush, edible images, floral designs, and licensed character designs.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
