JOB DESCRIPTION: Position – Assistant Manager

Dairy Queen is a fast casual American food restaurant with over 75 years of history. At Dairy Queen, we want to create positive experiences for all who touch Dairy Queen so that we can be the world's favorite quick service restaurant.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead our team of professional, hardworking team members. An upbeat, customer friendly and ‘can do’ attitude is required! If you have a knack for motivating and inspiring team members and FANS, we would like to speak with you!

Requirements:

• Must have 1 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in a high-volume quick service restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED (College degree preferred)
• A friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• ServSafe Certification or ability to attain one
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to oversee the preparation of safe and delicious food while maintaining a clean, neat and organized restaurant
• The ability to deliver a great FAN experience
• A team player who can jump in where needed
• A creative approach to local store marketing (fundraisers, community-engagement, etc.)
• Federal, state and local employment laws

• Dairy Queen operating systems and procedures
• Dairy Queen policies and procedures
• P&L analysis and corrective measures
• Supervisory practices
• Leading shifts without supervision

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In order to satisfactorily execute and meet the above accountabilities and key measurement criteria, the Manager must perform managerial duties on site, in accordance with customary scheduling requirements for this position. The Manager must be able to stand for long periods without a break (8 to 10 hours), lift 50 lbs and be able to travel to the bank, other restaurants, area office, etc.
