May include;

  • Directly responsible for the inventory assets of the business.
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation with internal and external customers to obtain desired results.
  • Responsible for the direct supervision and management of the scheduling team.
  • Review inventory and production schedules to ensure customer requirements are met on time.
  • Manage and maintain capacity planning models working closely with operations, engineering and the Master Scheduler at all times.
  • Manage audits of all inventory/assets within the company.
  • Assure processes follow acceptable SOX compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and update inventory records.
  • Create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures.
  • Reconcile inventory to book records and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Recommend programs and processes for the continuous improvement of the management of inventory.
  • Interact with Operations and IT to ensure an efficient warehouse layout.
  • Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis.
  • Manage and verify physical inventories and cycle counts are completed as required.
  • Interact with cross-functional management to resolve process issues affecting operations and inventory.
  • Interact with IT to resolve systemic transaction issues.
  • Provide written management reports and metrics maintaining documentation as required.
  • Coordinate the annual physical inventory procedures and/or audits.
  • Management and execution of special projects at supervisor’s or senior management’s request
  • Support new product launches through new model/revision releases and pilot builds.
  • Mapics and REP experience preferred

Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs
