DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP is Hiring a DIRECTOR PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE Near Waller, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define the strategic vision and goals for the Corporate Program Management Office (CPMO), aligning project portfolios with organizational objectives, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Governance and Oversight: Establish governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to govern project initiation, execution, and closure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead the development and management of the project portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic alignment, resource availability, and business value, and providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation across projects and programs, leveraging resource management tools and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing risk management plans and escalation protocols to minimize potential impact on project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and project sponsors, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track project performance, conducting regular reviews and reporting to stakeholders on progress, budget variance, and project health.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, methodologies, and tools, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and learning within the CPMO.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of program managers, project professionals, and analysts, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to support their growth and success.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and consulting firms, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in program management, portfolio management, and enterprise project management office (CPMO) leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Six Sigma) and best practices, with experience in implementing project management frameworks and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex projects and programs from initiation to closure, delivering results within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Experience in change management, organizational transformation, and driving business process improvements to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement and optimize project outcomes.
