Position Summary:
Responsible for data analysis to support PMO project decisions and tracking and report development for New Product Development (NPD) projects. This position will also assist in the development of reporting and presentations for the PMO team to Senior Staff and other functions across the company.
Analyzes product sales information and develops recommendations on product development options. Establishes, maintains, and communicates statistical data. Supports the development of strategy from a data standpoint. Manages individual and department projects to support PMO and Environmental Promotion Office (EPO) initiatives and goals.
Understand the granular issues and challenges facing NPD projects and relaying the important information to varying levels of leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Position Responsibilities: May include:
• Implementation and management of reporting around projects managed by the PMO within the Stage Gate (SG) Process
• Provide data and analytical support to the PMO and EPO teams.
• Assist the development of project documentation requirements (Stage Gate 0, Scoping Documents etc….)
• Assume Project Management responsibilities for some of the supporting non-product enabling 2023 projects
• Extract data and generate reports that assist in performance tracking and decision making.
• Create interactive dashboards to visualize data when needed.
• Analyze PMO projects and build decision support systems.
• Conduct research as needed to respond business requests.
• Provide suggestions and implement plans to improve business processes.
• Identify value-creation opportunities for the company
• Develop and implement solutions (both simple solutions using existing technology and infrastructure as well as complex solutions using the latest technologies such as machine learning, warehouse automation, sophisticated optimization algorithms, etc.
• Ensure projects and solutions are completed on time and according to spec.
• Maintain high quality data governance
• Undertake additional tasks as required.

• Possesses a broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education
• Has no discretion to deviate from established procedures by performing structured work assignments
• Work is closely supervised
• Problems faced are not typically difficult nor complex
• Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area
Knowledge and Skills:
• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project.
• Some experience with BI tools preferred (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Problem solving skills
Experience:
• 1-5 years
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or other related field from an accredited university
