The company is currently seeking an experienced IT Product Manager II.

Responsibilities

Position Summary/ Primary Purpose

The IT Product Manager oversees the development and delivery of IT solutions for our business needs. You will be responsible for managing the IT product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders, such as developers, business analysts, end-users, and senior management, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and communicate feedback. The IT Product Manager reports to the Manager of Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the IT product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Manage the IT product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Create and maintain the IT product backlog and prioritize the user stories based on the business value and user needs.
  • Gather and prioritize IT product and stakeholder requirements to ensure products deliver value.
  • Write and refine IT product requirements, acceptance criteria, and user scenarios.
  • Create and maintain IT product documentation, such as user stories, specifications, wireframes, and test cases.
  • Coordinate and facilitate IT product meetings, such as sprint planning, review, and retrospective.
  • Work with IT developers, business analysts, end-users, and senior management to gather and analyze requirements, prioritize features, and validate solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to plan and execute IT product development sprints and releases.
  • Conduct research to stay abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities for new or improved products.
  • Provide IT product training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Measure and analyze product performance and use data to guide future product development.
  • Manage IT product-related support, feedback, and inquiries from end users.
  • Ensure that IT products support the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Develop and implement best practices and tools for product management.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in project and\or product management, preferably in IT
  • A strong understanding of the software development process
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with market research and analysis
  • The ability to develop and execute a product vision and strategy.
  • Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer service orientation

Demonstrated Physical Abilities

Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
