We are looking for an experienced Glazier with relevant skills & experience - basic construction knowledge, ability to read & understand shop drawings, familiarity with hand tools, attention to detail, storefront systems, glass, windows, doors & hardware, etc.

Dahl Glass is a mid-sized, open shop located in Poulsbo, WA. We're growing and looking to add to our team.

We are a versatile shop that does commercial, service, & residential work throughout the Kitsap region. Candidates must be willing to travel to a scheduled job site within our service area & have reliable transportation to our shop in Poulsbo. We do try to keep our work as close as possible & most of the time you will report to our shop. All applicants must be local to the area – no per-diem is being offered. All work is Monday through Friday with OT available & prevailing wage depending on the job. Candidates will need to be able to meet scheduling requirements without restrictions. Quality work is our strong point & we will expect quality work from candidates.

Job Requirements

• Reliability. Show up to work on time so that your co-workers can rely on you.
• Follow instructions & pay attention. Have a learning mindset.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects such as IGUs, windows, & aluminum framing (Must be able to lift 50 lbs routinely).
• Must be able to read a tape measure and accurately cut materials.
• Have required tools for the trade (we will assist if necessary).
• Experience with power tools and safe practices.
• Must be comfortable with heights.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• No significant issues with a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites or shop
• Professional appearance and personality (Dressed for work every day: pants, boots, PPE, etc.)
• Proven job longevity is a must
• Reliable attendance is a must

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Relevant glazing & construction experience

Required language:

• English

Required license or certification:

• Driver's License

Pay:

• Competitive and based on experience: Starting at $18/hr for Entry Level Candidates
