Job Type: Full-time

Job Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Travel Requirement: This position requires occasional travel to our other locations in Sierra Madre and Claremont.

Job Description: As an Ortho Records Technician, you will play a crucial role in our orthodontic practice by ensuring the highest standards of sterilization, record-keeping, and patient information management. This position is responsible for maintaining OSHA quality standards, sterilizing instruments, and entering patient information into permanent dental records. X-ray certification is a requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in accordance with OSHA standards
Enter patient information into permanent dental records accurately.
Utilize digital charting systems for dental records.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Assist in the back office as needed, with a focus on sterilization.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Working knowledge and experience with dental digital charting.
Back-office dental experience, with sterilization experience being a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multi-task, follow directions, and be a flexible team player.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of reliability.
X-ray certification is required.
