D1 Training – Prosper, TX

D1 Prosper is seeking a Speed and Agility Coach who knowledgeable in teaching running form, speed development, agility training, and plyometrics. D1 Coaches exhibit the ability to adapt and customize programs to tailor directly to their athletes and clients. In addition to coaching D1 members, D1 Coaches will also have a chance to build a personal training book that can include college and professional athletes. D1 Coaches are a part of the best training facilities in the industry and a company that is growing rapidly across the country. Coaches have multiple opportunities for professional growth within D1.

D1 Speed and Agility Coaches are energetic and passionate about training and influencing the lives of others. Coaches train D1 Scholastic Members from ages 7-18, D1 Adult Members, and Teams. Coaches also participate in personal training sessions with athletes of all types. Using training programs provided by D1, a D1 Speed and Agility Coach must exhibit passion, expertise, high-energy, positive motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service.

D1 Speed & Agility Coaches deliver the best workouts in the country to our clients through D1’s 5 Star Training system and coaching principles. Coaches learn to train “The D1 Way” coaching at the highest level.

Required Experience:

  • Nationally recognized & accredited certification: CSCS
  • Valid CPR/AED
  • Proven training and coaching experience

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Athletic background
  • Preferred background in track and field and/or speed training
  • Experience in Instructing classes of 20 clients
  • Live in the area or seek to relocate immediately
  • 1 years of strength and speed training experience in a high school, collegiate, or professional performance/fitness setting
  • Familiarity with training athletes, their environment, and needs
  • Experience communicating with clients and employees
  • Preferred Certification: Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association- (CSCS from NSCA)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Coach 10-20 D1 GROUP Training workouts per week
  • Create an exciting, high-energy atmosphere for the members
  • Give educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition to members
  • Ability to coach and manage workouts from 1-24 people
  • General cleanliness and upkeep of equipment
  • Represent D1’s Mission and Core Values
