Position:

Title: Apprentice Low Voltage Technician

Director Report to: Director of Operations

Compensation: Based on Experience and Certs

General Duties and Objectives

As a union, low voltage technician, your job duties would typically include:

• Installing and servicing basic security, fire, access control and CCTV systems
• Assisting with the installation, service and inspection of more complex security, fire, access control and CCTV systems
• Running low voltage wiring and cables for connectivity between devices and control panels
• Configuring Security, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems to meet specific requirements and operational needs
• Integrating different components and systems to work seamlessly together, ensuring compatibility and functionality
• Testing and Troubleshooting:
• Conducting thorough testing of installed systems to ensure proper functionality and performance
• Troubleshooting technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
• Conducting quality assurance checks to verify that systems are installed correctly and meet performance expectations
• Keeping abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices to continually improve installation techniques and system capabilities
• Providing a professional level of customer service to customers and end users

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
