D'Youville University is Hiring a Physician Assistant Department - Program Assessment Coordinator Near Buffalo, NY

General Statement of Duties:

The D’Youville University Physician Assistant Department seeks a well-qualified candidate for the position of Program Assessment Coordinator. This is a full time (1.0FTE) technical support staff position located in Buffalo, New York. The Program Assessment Coordinator reports directly to the Physician Assistant Program Director. This position supports the day to day program administration, clinical coordination and continuous programmatic review and analysis to comply with the Accreditation Standards for Physician Assistant Education. This position will be eligible for the D’Youville University’s 32-hour work week initiative. Top candidates will be sensitive to academic, economic, and cultural needs of students historically underrepresented in health professions. Candidates of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist and support Program Director in all aspects of the accreditation process and assessment.
  • Ensure ongoing program self-assessment to document program effectiveness and foster program improvement.
  • Assist clinical coordinator to assess the supervised clinical practice experience effectiveness.
  • Assist academic coordinator to assess curriculum and instruction effectiveness
  • Assist in data collection management including integrating data from multiple software applications.
  • Critically analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Prepare customized reports to communicate program strengths, areas of improvement and action plans for program, institution, and external audience.
  • Integrate data from multiple software applications.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all institutional and system data.
  • Support the PA department in fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business information systems or any field with significant quantitative, qualitative, and data analysis training.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret complex information to a diverse audience.
  • Knowledge of or experience managing evidence documents.
  • Experience managing multiple complex priorities, often with limited time frames.
  • Detail-oriented with strong writing, editing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Work well independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience meeting deadlines on time.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Three years of experience working with regional accreditation standards, reports, and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience reviewing accreditation standards, evaluating level of compliance, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions.
  • Knowledge of integrated program planning, development, and administration within an institutional environment.
  • Professional experience in higher education or accreditation.
  • Familiarity with Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms.
  • Experience with specialized program accreditation: Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), Middle States Commission on Higher Education
