Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform repairs on diesel engines, fuel systems and vehicle drive line components, such as turbo replacement, injector replacement & electrical systems, with efficiency and accuracy
• Use of diagnostic repair manuals, diagrams and schematics used to diagnose electronically controlled fuel systems
• Ability to utilize electronic testing equipment such as multi meters, volt amp testers and load testers
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repair when needed
• Communicate parts requirements before job start up
• Upfitting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and pumping systems on trucks. Including installing PTO’s, blowers, and pumps

Requirements

• Diesel repair and troubleshooting experience
• Bulk tank equipment experience, fabrication and welding are a plus
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record – CDL is a plus but not required
• Proper tools and equipment to perform daily diesel mechanic functions
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical or trade school degree preferred
