Job Description:
The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning the assigned area per client requirements and or instructions from D Squared Facilities Management staff. This person will be responsible for keeping the assigned area clean, sanitized and organized to meet client requirements. The Janitor will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment in accordance with all OSHA regulations.
Other key duties include:
- Empty trash cans and recycling cans
- Clean restrooms according to all standards set by the client
- Sweep and mopping floors throughout the facility as needed
- Assisting in storage areas as needed
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as on your own
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Follow written and verbal directions
- Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude toward your co-workers and management
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
