About the Position

The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining, repairing and cleaning our five facilities and grounds to ensure smooth operation of the business.

This is a part-time position and will be working 24-32 hours per week and pay will be determined according to experience. The General Maintenance Worker will report directly to the CEO of the company.

Essential Job Functions

• Repair fixtures and equipment such as light fixtures, sink, toilet, 110V outlets and switches, etc.
• Perform routine building maintenance such as painting, drywall repairs, hanging pictures etc.
• Custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, etc.
• Grounds keeping such as weeding, parking line painting, removing debris, etc.
• Transporting of scrap metal to recycling center to ensure parking lot cleanliness
• Company document organization for yearly shredding
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of previous maintenance experience.
• Plumbing, plastering and electrical backgrounds preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

Physical Requirements

• Remaining on your feet for several hours at a time
• Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, and climbing
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Use of basic power tools
