You are responsible for the overall planning of providing doors, frames and hardware for commercial construction projects nationwide. You review awarded contracts, architectural drawings, and specifications to complete a fully detailed project takeoff, determining the materials needed for each opening type by conducting a scope review and asking questions to understand contract terms and values to ensure accuracy. You use this information to create a submittal for materials and change orders for any plan changes. Your day is filled with frequent customer contact, and you are always known to answer your phone and frequently check in with your customers.
