D.M. Bowman, Inc., is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our team as our Load Planner! Our company is a regional Transportation and Logistics Company founded in 1959, and to this day remains financially sound and continues to focus our efforts on developing long-term mutually beneficial relationships based upon comprehensive logistics solutions.

The Load Planner serves as a primary liaison between D.M. Bowman, Inc. driver managers and customer service representatives to ensure that our deliveries are being made in a timely fashion and our customers are continuously taken care of! This position would be full-time, working Monday-Friday, working from our office location in Williamsport, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning of all loads within a designated area of service
• Utilizing drivers DOT hours of service
• Management of customer deadlines to ensure on time service
• Quickly identify areas of risk for load failures developing plans for a proactive resolution option
• Collaborate with driver managers and customer service representatives to ensure proactive approaches to providing service for drivers, customers, and the operation
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• At least one year of transportation industry experience required
• AS400 experience highly preferable

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Undergraduate study preferred
