Job Description

FourStars Finance was established in 2010 and is an affiliate of D&M Auto Leasing. The company partners with banks, credit unions, and captive funding sources to provide financing options and serve the needs of leasing companies and franchised dealerships. The business model and infrastructure were built based on over 30 years of experience in the leasing market, creating a highly efficient and robust work environment. FourStars Finance currently manages over 1 Billion dollars in leases. 

Privately-held D&M Holdings is the parent company of D&M Auto Leasing, Four Stars Finance, Dallas Lease Returns, and Apple Leasing.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Reports to the VP of Finance and applies general accounting principles for recording, maintaining, and analyzing operational accounting and financial data

- Completes assigned projects and tasks related to the evaluation and implementation of continuous process improvements across the company

- Assists with maintaining various reports for special projects as needed on behalf of affiliated entities within the Four Stars Finance and D&M Leasing family of companies

- Performs research at the direction of senior staff for various projects

- Job Shadowing with multiple departments and employees to gain an understanding of our business and the duties asked to perform

- Timely preparation of all required documentation and deliverables assigned

Skills and Qualifications

- Completion of at least Freshman year and enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program

- Basic finance and mathematical skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe

- Analytical and quantitative capabilities

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 9-6 pm, with some flexibility. We aim to start May 20th and for the internship to last until August 9th 2024.
