More importantly, our experienced, dedicated and highly capable workforce will ensure that any project will be complex.We are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to join their growing team. This is a merit shop company that believes in providing an environment where the employee’s professional growth is the foundation of the organization. ted as specified - on time and within budget.Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities:Clear knowledge and understanding of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning requirements and operations.Supervise and participate in the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and written and/or verbal instruction. Plan, schedule and assign work to ensure proper distribution of work, adequate staffing and space for efficient performance of duties with the Superintendent at each job site.Ability to identify costly deviations from the plans and bring them to the attention of the project manager.• Understand different types of systems and pressure classification.Order correct material and quantity to minimize returns.Ability to break jobs down into manageable installation pieces. Create a plan with the assistance of the superintendent and project manager.Ability to assist with laying the requirements of a change order for the project manager to write up.Keep accurate notes and changes on the drawings for as built construction documents.• Ability to work with other trades and communicate and coordinate conflicts.• Keep accurate daily reports.QualificationsQualifications:5 years of HVAC, troubleshooting, installing and running crews.Computer experience required. Ability to learn how to use a tablet and manage document files on a job such as; material list, RFI’s, change orders, and daily logs.Flexibility for travel and working OT, as required.Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and codes.
