Position Summary
The Production Associate I performs functions including trimming, grinding, packaging, labeling, and recordkeeping. This position is an entry level position and responsible for rotating between a limited number of functional areas.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Follows instructions given by the manager.
- Gathers, arranges, and sorts materials.
- Processes materials into finished goods.
- Performs quality control checks and ensures uniformity.
- Packages finished goods in store ready packaging.
- Maintains accurate labeling of all items, SRPs, and batches.
- Produces the required quantity of product within established timeframes and specifications.
- Maintains production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports.
- Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and state regulations.
- Ensures the work area is kept in clean and safe condition.
- Actively contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following applicable safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.
- Behaves in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Cannabis or production/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time (8 hours)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to use a step ladder.
- Manual dexterity is needed for manipulating hand tools.
- Visual acuity is needed to accurately read small screens and labels.
Workplace Environment
- Warehouse/production facility environment with environmental controls
- Consistent moderate background noise level due to machinery and HVAC
- Exposure to keef/dust and cannabis odor
- Exposure to skin contact with plants, to which some individuals may be allergic (PPE provided)
