Introduction:
Cyrten’s Customer seeks a Machine Learning Engineer with active TS/SCI FSP to work in Washington, DC. The engineer will develop new tools, productize proof-of-concept capabilities, and repurpose existing tools to support operational requirements. Additionally, the engineer will support the ongoing development of tools, transition developed tools to the enterprise system, and ensure compliance with architectural and A&A processes. The engineer will also be responsible for developing and supporting scalable and secure functionality in software applications and conducting technical experiments to test the tradecraft concepts.
Role:
1. Employ blank slate development for new tools based on Customer requirements
2. Productize proof-of-concept capabilities into tools that satisfy operational requirements
3. Identify open-source capabilities or characterize Customer provided tools to support operational requirements
4. Develop the ability to correlate data from various sources to create real-time patterns of life predictability
5. Support ongoing development of tools to gather data from various COTS sensor-based sources
6. Transition developed tools and systems to the Customer’s Enterprise system
7. Modify applications to meet compliance with the Customer’s architectural and A&A process
8. Develop tools to enable technology starting from various initial maturity levels
9. Develop and support scalable and secure functionality into software applications
10. Use Machine Learning to simulate human learning activities
11. Develop data framework for data analysis to support end-user data discovery and data correlation
12. Design, setup, and perform technical demonstrations
13. Incorporate multiple technologies for novel solutions
14. Enact ad-hoc technical experiments to test tradecraft concepts
Reqired Skills & Experience:
1. Demonstrated experience with Python
2. Demonstrated experience with cloud services
3. Demonstrated experience with Docker
4. Demonstrated experience using version control systems like Git
5. Demonstrated experience with JavaScript
6. Demonstrated experience with Java EE
7. Demonstrated experience with common data science packages, such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Matplotlib, or Seaborn
8. Demonstrated experience programming in SQL and working with ElasticSearch
9. Demonstrated experience with user-interface or user-experience (UI/UX) design
10. Demonstrated experience engaging with stakeholders and end-users throughout the development process
Nice to Have:
1. Demonstrated experience with VMware or equivalent2. Demonstrated experience with Python AI/ML3. Demonstrated experience with OpenCV4. Demonstrated experience with scikit-learn, tensorflow, or pytorch5. Demonstrated experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR) and related software (KISMET, GNURadio, rtl_433)6. Demonstrated experience with JavaScript UI libraries such as vuetify, leaflet and pixi.js7. Demonstrated experience with opensource video analytic and CCTV tools (i.e. OpenMPF, Shinobi, MotionEye, and/or ffmpeg)8. Demonstrated experience with ARM, PowerPC, MIPS, and x86, x64 architectures & assembly9. Demonstrated experience developing and writing code for soho/mobile devices10. Demonstrated experience understanding the design and programming for systems integration of complex systems
