CYNWAVE Solutions has an exciting opportunity available for a Janitor. The ideal candidate will ensure all medical and administrative working areas to include restrooms, patient rooms, offices, hallways, elevators, escalators, common areas and immediate building perimeters are clean and kept in an orderly manner. 

Job Summary:

Duties involve sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and polishing floors; removing trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; restocking restrooms with supplies and reporting maintenance issues; and cleaning labortories, showers, and restroom fixtures.

• Shifts Available: 07:00 am to 03:30 pm OR 03:30pm to 12:00 am OR 07:00 pm - 03:30 am OR 12:00 am - 08:30 am

Qualifications:

• Have existing cleaning experience

• Be able to work with minimal supervision

• Take pride in and are dedicated to their work

• Have high standards of cleanliness

Duties:

• Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, etc.

Specific Tasks:

• Standards: Employees will be required to perform Two-Step Cleaning in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance.

• Trash Removal: The employee shall pick up and empty all trash or waste receptacles.
• Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) ‘Red Bag’ Bio-hazardous: The employee shall pick up the Red Bag waste and deposit it in specially designated, locked "infectious waste" bins or designated holding areas in a safe and timely manner, and in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Recyclables: The employee shall pick up and empty all recycled collection receptacles and deposited them at established holding sites.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and less than 1 year of prior relevant experience.
