- The client Information Security Office is seeking a senior IT Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule.
- The project manager is responsible for the outcome of the assigned projects.
- The project manager leads the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successful completion of the project phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closeout.
- Candidate MUST have PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from the VITA.
- A minimum of 7 years of project experience in IT infrastructure delivery, network and server infrastructure, knowledge of Cloud implementations, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with network technologies (switches, firewalls, circuits, etc.) standards and practices.
- Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and IT Infrastructure components (Servers, storage, OS upgrades, networking, software installs, vulnerability remediation, etc.).
- Experience managing large multi-stream projects.
- Experience in various software development methodologies.
- Preferred experience with Agile.
