Job Description

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for executing various process and quality improvement initiatives. This individual will be working with a diverse group of employees, such as engineers, technicians, assemblers, and professionals our Aerospace & Defense customers’ manufacturing facility in Wilson, North Carolina.

This exciting opportunity is a multidisciplinary role, requiring the ability to implement quality engineering tasks, and project management.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementation plans of NADCAP compliance across NDT and Welding processes
• Project management and implementation of NADCAP compliance
• Implementing corrective actions recommended by other team members
• Working productively with the broader team, including local Cyient employees and local client employees
• Project reporting
• Develop & edit process sheets for improvement recommendations
• Performs additional duties as required

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience. Prior non-industry related, but relevant, experience will be considered in industries such as automotive, industrial, medical, etc.

Experience with the following

• NADCAP
• Aerospace Quality Processes
• Process sheet writing and editing.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T methodology.
• Aerospace specifications & tooling

Education requirements

• Quality background with NADCAP auditor certification for NDT and Weld
• Other related backgrounds will be considered

Citizenship

• US Citizenship required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
